Gwenda Micheals: Quit trying to find the exact property yourself. Pick up the phone and call a vacation rental agent in that area. There are many, many beautiful vacation homes out there that are handled through private agencies. It really is only a small number that are rented direct by the owner on websites like VRBO, and homeaway and cyberrentals. In fact, for a wedding I would hesitate to rent direct from the owner. Strange things happen sometimes and you have little recourse if the owner is four hundred miles away. Sometimes things aren't working or clean when you get there. Sometimes the property is not as it was represented. When you rent from an agent they will have a local brick & mortar office including local housekeeping and maintenance staff. They recognize that YOU are the customer. By finding you the RIGHT property and making sure it's clean and well-maintained they a! re hoping you will use their services again and will recommend them to others.Another reason to use a rental agent...they will probably be able to help you figure out if you need a permit to have a wedding on the beach and maybe even hook you up with a good caterer, etc. in the area.Good luck!P.S.
