Frances Macky: No, You can have any close friend (that you trust) to put in a good word for you. Scense you are close friends and they know your work ethnic and values they will do just fine.
Angelyn Ducas: Do you have any other references from a different employer? Perhaps an employer you worked for before this one? If so, you could contact someone there and ask if you could use them as a reference. It's strange for an employer to ask for three work related references from the same place.
