What about a person born deformed....using himself for motivation or entertainment?

Saran Stealy: In an economy where we are only now mandating equal access for all regardless of ability, this is how they were able to make money legally. In a society where the different are marginalized (or ostracized), even by family, this is way for the different to have a family who cares more fiercely for them than any blood relatives every did.My hope is that these differently-appearing folk will present themselves to us for our entertainment so much that we as a society will tire of the humor, begin to see them as familiar and therefore acceptable, and then think to ourselves, "My God, what have we done?"...Show more
