answers 0:I hate hate hate the dentist. Every time I go he always tells me I need to either get a root canal or crown or that I have a cavity. My mouth has always been bad even when I was younger I had a lot of cavities but now all I ever seem to need is a root canal or a crown which are definitely not cheap. It is not so much the money for me it is the pain and the time required in the chair. The reason i ask is that I have a dentists appointment today because I cracked part of my tooth off which obviously needs to be repaired and I am nervous about what he is going to tell me. Any help thanks...Show moreanswers 1:I do have it all done as I want to keep my teeth healthy. I do the most important first, like root canals and crowns, and then get the fillings done! at another appointment. I have some cosmetic work to do and I save that for last.answers 2:Yes. She walks on water.answers 3:I definitely believe you should adhere to your dentists advice and get the recommended treatment. I know it may be hard to see, but the dentist only wants the best for you and your smile. Try to relax about the procedures, these people have trained for many years and will try to make your experience as comfortable as possible. Whilst avoiding dental procedures is common maladaptive behaviour, due to fear and anxiety, it is best just to face up and go and get yourself sorted, or else it will just escalate into a larger issue. If it helps, I used to hate dentist too, until I was lucky enough to have found the most understanding dentist I had ever met, and now I quite enjoy the experience. Good luck- you will be fine and your teeth will thank you for it in the long run :)...
